Ruby is ONE | Southern Indiana Children's Photographer

It seems so long since I first had the pleasure of shooting with Miss Ruby-  11 months ago! Since her newborn session we've shot an additional 3 times (Family, 6 Months, and Cake Smash) and her most recent Birthday Session has to be my favorite! Just look at this sweet baby!

This Classic Cardigan (in Mustard) and Sadie Vintage Lace Jumpsuit can be found at Bailey's Blossoms, a sweet little boutique that has everything you could possibly want to keep your littles in style.

And can we talk about this headband?! If you've never checked out Isla Layne on Etsy, you MUST. She offers the sweetest baby gift sets and all around perfect baby pieces! This is only one of the set of three headbands you can find in this listing. I can't stress enough how much I LOVE these! We stretched the Newborn Tie Backs to fit Miss Ruby but Isla Layne now offers tie backs in Newborn up to Adult sizes! GO! Get yours and tell her I sent ya!

Ruby was super stingy with the smiles, we did manage a few but, I'm quite happy with the beautiful solemn face and those gorgeous blue eyes piercing into the camera. Could she be any more beautiful? And that lace detail 😍😍😍

This sweet, floral romper is from River and Jax and I'm smitten... it even came with this perfect little headband! It sets off Ruby's complexion perfectly, don't you think?! Unfortunately, its out of stock and no longer listed on their website but, oh, the other options!!!
You can also find them on Facebook!

Of course, the most anticipated part of the session was the cake smash. I've used Pam's Sweets and Treats, based out of Lanesville, Indiana, for a couple of my girls' birthday treats and this cake certainly didn't disappoint. Perfectly neutral so mommy could dress it up and OH so delicious!

Ruby didn't hesitate to dig in at all! As soon as mama put her down her hands went straight to it!

Ruby's sweet little aqua headband and romper set came from Couture Flower on Etsy (find it here). Can we talk about how affordable it was?! AND it was so simple and went perfectly with her cake smash theme!

This sweet girl gets prettier and prettier every time I see her. Its been such a pleasure getting to know Kayla, Jon and Miss Ruby over the last year+. I can't wait to watch this sweet girl grow and to see these clients-turned-friends again soon!
